Prespa Park was founded in 2000 in a Joint Statement by the Prime Ministers of Greece, Albania and the Republic of North Macedonia. The overall objective of the project is the organization of all the cultural, environmental and tourist information concerning the cross-border area of Prespa with the use of new technologies.

]]> ToCulture – Promote tourism and Culture through the water https://apptrm.gov.mk/toculture-promote-tourism-and-culture-through-the-water/ Tue, 10 Oct 2023 08:01:56 +0000 https://abovemkgr.com/?p=5024 The project “Promote tourism and Culture through the water” with the acronym “ToCulter”, aims to promote tourism in the cross-border region of Greece – Republic of North Macedonia with emphasis on important water bodies and thermal springs, utilizing modern technology, innovative forms of tourism promotion as well as the improvement of the overall tourism product through training actions. The purpose of the project is the organization of cities with thermal springs (spa towns), ensuring high quality of the tourist product, the formation of a common tourist identity with specialization in each region, promotion and advertising as well as innovative applications. The expected results of the project are the tourist promotion of the areas with thermal springs, the assurance and promotion of the quality policy that the partners will follow, the increase of visitation in the areas and the provision of high quality services of the tourist and non-tourist enterprises of the application area.

]]> Training in Struga – 21.10.2022 https://apptrm.gov.mk/training-in-struga-21-10-2022/ Wed, 19 Oct 2022 22:00:11 +0000 https://abovemkgr.com/?p=3306 On 21.10.2022 the first seminar was held in Struga. At the seminar participants were the following:

  • Representatives from Municipality Struga
  • Representatives from Municipality Vevcani
  • Representatives from Faculty for Tourism and hospitality  – Ohrid
  • Tourist guides
  • Tourist agencies
  • Agency for tourism promotion and support – Struga

At the seminar, the participants had the opportunity to learn about the project from the presentation made by the project manager Snezana Kokra Volcevska.
